Also I have spent the past 12 hours or so in 'false labor' - or maybe im in the very very early stages of getting to real labor and my fabulous uterus is just gearing up for the big moment. Anyway, I have constant contractions and they HURT! But they are inconsistent and mainly focused on my back and lower abdomen...so no LUCK! It just lets me be sleep deprived and achy - what a combo! The good news is Ive been cleaning the house a little bit (usually I go shopping when the 'nesting' instinct comes over me!) and maybe that means delivery isnt that far off. Even if this nasty fake labor hangs on - I'm 9 days from my actual due date - so it feels great to have the end in sight!
Ill keep you all posted for any progress! Enjoy the Gallery of Misery!
Gabe, Blissfully 9 months pregnant - isnt he GLOWING? ps, this picture was the result of a KFC baby, which I forced him to eat due to my incessant cole slaw cravings...
Christy, miserably 9 months pregnant
The beginning of the cankles, first day of noticeable swelling
Full blown Cankles turned elephantitis
Please enojy how much larger my left leg is than my right one. ISNT THIS FUN?!?
*Please overlook my PWT pedicure that severely needs redone*

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry for you. Just the thought makes me want to put off my next pregnancy even more. Just know I am praying for that baby to come out soon. Those contractions are probably doing something for sure. With Mycah I was maybe a 1 with little softening on a Wed. and she came Sat. night. It'll probably catch you off guard.
THE END IS IN SIGHT- YES! Those cankle shots made me shudder. I guess there was ONE prego side effect I didn't suffer. Lucky you.
The girls DEMAND a cousin this week. See what you can do!
oh how hilarious!!!Luckily it is because you are growing a human, and will not be a permanent feature!
Your due date is getting close! Good luck!!! I'm so excited for you!
Hmm.. come to think of it...I'm wondering if that swelling could really be the result of a fridge filled soley with beverages?? Voss anyone?!
Christy, I couldn't wear my wedding ring- only the band because of my sausage fingers at the end of pregnancy. I do enjoy your left leg and how it is slightly more swollen. You only have a little bit longer to go! Hang in there!
Girl, you made me laugh. Sorry, but you're too funny. It's getting so close, before you know it you'll be looking back at these photos relieved that these hard days are over.
Oh Sweet Girl:
If I had magical powers I would wave my wand and those horrible things would be gone! I am SOOO sorry. It's a horrible feeling. Seriously, how far can our skin stretch? It isn't human what we go through. I love you. I'm glad we had lunch last week, I know it feels like time is standing still (because it is!) but you're down to single digits now! Only 9 days! See you soon!
We stopped by your house tonight and there was no answer, hopefully you are at the hospital, but probably not. Oh my gosh your cankle pictures are too funny. I never really had the whole swelling thing, my ring got kind of tight. Well maybe enjoy a little more peace and quiet, my baby is standing up in his crib screaming with delight when he should be sleeping. Good times.

Ok, so I NEVER had regular contractions all the way through the labor and they could never pick them up even when they put that really uncomfortable thing inside me to monitor them. So have no fear, it could be way closer than you think. Things can happen so fast. Good luck! I am rooting for ya! PS- I am waiting to send gifts till I know what you have :)
Your belly is so tiny maybe you'll have a little 6 pounder; it will make the cankles worth it :) I tried to go to that blog but it's set to private. What is on it?
I can't thank you enough for sharing those gems! You truly made my day! It'll all be over soon. I PROMISE!!!
