Charlie Brown....

HAS NOTHING ON THE BEALS!

We did venture deep into the wilderness to chop down this 'little beauty'. We walked and walked until finally we saw it -growing all alone with its tiny naked branches. Ironically from the road where we spotted it, it looked quite fluffy and christmas-appropriate. However, as we got closer and closer to it we could see it was a little bit 'charlie'. Too bad though, because Brigitte had done 4 major blowouts and ruined all her spare clothes and I was getting starving...so Gabe took the old ax and cut 'er down.

My brother Curtis (isnt he so adorable- even with his serial killer ax ?) came along bearing all the wood-chopping tools. He, along with his cute Kallie, was kind enough to get our tree permit and feed us breakfast before we left. *Thanks again John and Pam for the delish waffles bacon and fuits!*

Kallie doing her "auntly" duties along with her dad John who had fun practicing his 'grandpa' skills

My two Babes chillin in the wilds

Apparently Brigitte enjoys the outdoors. Once again I am forced to ask the question "Whos child IS this?"

After some surgical garland implantation, our tree was finally ready to hold some ornaments. Here is our kinda sad final result: Note my Eiffel tower still holding its own as our traditional tree topper!

Here is Gabe helping Brigitte hang her very first tree ornament. Its a pink jingle baby that is the cutest thing ever.

We hope you all had a luvly Thanksgiving! Christmas here we come!

Yay! we get to follow the adventures of the Beals! Oh my gosh! Little brigitte is adorable! Her little outfit is precious. I want to kiss her cheeks! If you put that tree in our house it would look the size of the Rockefeller Christmas tree. We realized geometry does actually come in handy after high school if you live in an oversized closet. Fitting 3 in a one bedroom has forced some geometric creativity. Christy, I love that you have Gweneths Goop on your blog. I just recently discovered it and love it!

Christy,

Did you get the bag of baby things from Salt Lake for the yard sale? Just wanted to make sure they made it to Boise.

I, too, love you blog and your sense of humor. Your baby is darling.

I'm totally game with a game night next week, but we might need to shoot for Friday evening, because Alex has TONS of homework until the last day of school, and I'd love to hang with the Frogleys.

I love the first picture of you. Too cute. Also, I love the fact that you did "garland transplants" on your tree. Hilarious! Only the girl who can mod podge anything would be capable of that. I love you and miss you.

That doesn't look Charlie Brown to me. It looks pretty dang good. I feel like I haven't seen sweet Brigitte in forever and she's growing too fast.

I almost boycotted this commenting on this post because you have 16 comments. 16!!! I barely know 16 people :) Ridiculous!

But Brigitte was just too darn cute and i feel bad reading your blog a couple times a week and never commenting.

PS: Thank you so much for my new amazing wonderful background!!! So nice of you! I'll have to call you sometime for a tutorial.

Your tree is too cute. How funny that you went and cut it yourself! I saw your comment about "Baby Gabe's" head and I can relate. Zaylin has always been in the 20th percentile for head while his body is in the 125th percentile. Somehow he still looks normal, so I am not quite sure how that works. Maybe an eighth of an inch is like 40 percent or something when kids are that age. Trust me, it is better than having a huge melon, especailly for a girl! Merry Christmas!
