Gabe and Christy Beal : Married (Eloped) on April 14th 2007

In The Manhattan New York City Temple

*These pics are from San Francisco where Gabe proposed

I was not a Bridezilla. But Gabe... was.

Maybe I did splurge a little bit on my hair and makeup guys but seriously, can you blame me? They worked for "The View" (direct quote from my father "but christy - what ARE they?")

My wedding colors were...Taxi Cab yellow and Central Park lovely

The fact that we didnt have to stand in a reception line: PRICELESS

We Honeymooned for 8 blissful days in Paris France. Ooh la la to crepes, shopping, and Gabe in a Beret.

Our reception dinner was at 30 Rock in the Rainbow Room

My only regret: Having to go home

We definitely couldn't save our cake topper because: No cake for us. Some sweet girl did buy us two hot dogs so we exchanged bites. Enjoy the only photo in existence of me eating pork products:

Gabe and I have now been married for  1 year, 10 months. That is insane. It feels like SO much longer :)

I am so extremely jealous of your wedding! How awesome! AND your hair was beautiful! What a super neat memory. Did you truly elope? No fam / friends there? I've always thought that would be fun....and your pictures are great!

Did you really elope to the Manhattan temple? And hire makeup artists from the View? And what are you holding from that French pile of clothes? I love this story but I want to know more. But most importantly, you look stunning and you both look so happy. And your daughter is adorable! So happy for you.

Very fun to read. I remember getting your announcement that you 'eloped' and thought it was brave & very original. I know Jayna wishes she could have been there though. You had beautiful pictures taken.

I loved seeing all your gorgeous wedding photos! How fun that you went to New York. I remember a bunch of us girls sitting in the chapel during Sunday school talking about our wedding dates, and I think you told everyone a May date. Ahh the singles ward. I loved being there, but I sure don't miss it!!! P.S. I laughed at the comment your friend made about Dallin's hair being professionally done. If only I had that kind of money. =) His hair is 100% bed head and me not washing it everyday. I'm such a bad Mom. he he he
