We are terrible people..

We should have done this MONTHS ago.  It was a little bit traumatic for everyone :)

On a happier less painful note...Brigitte did enjoy her VERY first swimming experience at Givens Hot Springs on Friday night.  She is a little fish! We met up with all the Beals, and some of the (crazy) men stayed up there to 'camp' overnight. The facilities were a little rough, but worth it to have a warm indoor place to watch Brigitte go crazy in the water! I tried to upload a video of her splashy arms but it wouldnt work. So these pictures will have to suffice.

That is the saddest little cry ever!! I wanted to start crying with her when the lady came back to do the second ear :(

What can we say Brigitte...it hurts to be beautiful. That's what my mom used to always tell me, although only about putting curlers in my hair. Not that she was punching permanent holes in my body but...Just kidding Christy. I think they are cute!

You just did a huge service for your daughter. She will thank you for years to come that you did this before she could remember anything. I'm so glad my mom got my ears pierced when I was 3 months. I wouldn't have been brave enough now.
WELL DONE!!!!

Can't believe you were brave enough. Plus, you got it on video, Wow! I'm impressed. I don't think I can do it, especially after watching her cry that bad. Poor thing. Props on the both of you & the camera person for being so brave.

Awe..poor lil thing!! That is evil that they do the ears separately!! When we had Ella's done, there was one lady on both sides and they did both ears at the same time, and their piercer thing put the back on during the piercing.
Such a sad little cry!! It does make them seem so girly, and now you don't have to bother wrestling with her when she's older :)

Oh those little tears just broke my heart. Looks like she gets to learn early on the "pain" of looking hot! :)

That was so adorably sad. So great that you captured that moment! She is precious I want to hug her! I can't wait to have a little girl to dress up. I would change her earings with every outfit.

So you have me obsessed with using coupons. I still don't get how you guys get such great deals. It is a science I have yet to grasp. What is the trick? Am I just dumb? I look at your blog all the time. Help me.
