Spencer and Hobble having a little quality snuggle on the couch today. He was having a rough time and followed me around crying all morning, so in a moment of desperation I went out and got Hobble hoping she could hold him for me. And she did! It melts my heart to see how sweet he is with her - and how mellow she is with him. Not once did she squirm or try to scratch and run away from him. He just held her like this for seriously 15 minutes. The whole time he kept saying ohhhh. ohhhhh.

I am desperately trying to find the other 5 kittens a good home before I have my baby. Its tough to feel like they are going to decent people.  In fact a girl from craigslist came and picked out 2 kittens a few weeks ago and I had to text her and tell her she couldn't have them after all. She had requested two kittens because she was pretty sure her kids would kill one, and she didnt want them to be sad....and I just couldn't let her have them after that! Why are people so honest and weird??? Anyway...if you know of anyone who needs an adorable kitten....just let me know!

I am officially 38 3/4 weeks pregnant and NO. BABY. On monday I had the WORST night of contractions that I couldnt sleep through, and they were 3-5 minutes apart from midnight to 5 am. As soon as I got up to pack my bag, call Aunt Jory, and Gabe cancelled his trip to Pocatello for the day -- you guessed it. The contractions got farther and farther apart - THEN STOPPED!!! By 9 am I was completely pregnant. So depressing!!!! I dont mind staying pregnant but PLEASE! STOP the teasing! Anyway, my appt is tomorrow and I am eager to see if I am dilated at all. I swear to you, if I spent 48 hours sleep free for NO REASON...there will be anger! I better at least be a 1 and get those membranes stripped!!!!

In other exciting news, I hit rock bottom (again) with Brigitte and her lack of sleep and ended up taking her to a Vu-Du Doctor who works by "the laying on of hands." It was bizarre to say the least, but after 3 weeks of seriously NO SLEEP, our lives were at risk. So anyway, after about 30 minutes of muscle testing and asking Brigittes body what exactly the problem was....he concluded that her brain has an insulin intolerance, she was protein deprived, carbohydrate overloaded, and wheat intolerant. All of these issues in effect mean that her parasympathetic nervous system - or- her "rest and digest" system, was not working properly. So he "reset her" and gave me instructions to wean her off wheat and amp up her protien intake big time. And Im not joking you, she went to bed at 8pm and slept until 8:30 the next morning. That has NEVER ever happened before. Not when shes sick, not when shes drugged, not when its pitch black and silent. I was amazed. She is doing SO much better with sleep. She voluntarily laid down and took a nap today. That hasnt happened in months! And teh other great news is that her tantrums and hyper activity have way mellowed out, probably because she is getting more rest at night.
So All in all we were pleased with the good doctors work. Next week I will take her in again for another "reset" and we will see if she continues to improve.

Other than that there was nothing major going on in our lives these past few days. Gabe continues to work diligently on our new playroom and its coming along nicely! I cant wait for it to be finished!!!!

Keep your fingers crossed for me that tomorrows appointment is productive! We might get a baby this weekend - Woo hoo!

Good luck at the doctors appt!! We're crossing our fingers you are ready to roll. I also read your baby flowers post and just about peed my pants laughing at her lack of hair and your funny description :) Dave had to come see what all the commotion was about. I was dying. Good fix with the curls. She is darling now...I just can't believe you baked those limbs...would have been too freaky for me!!

I seriously laugh every time I read your blog or a comment. Just so you know, I have break downs at least daily and my adorable son who is almost 3 is giving me more of a run for my money than I thought was ever possible. The kid may possibly be friends with Satan! He isn't even 3 and it is killing me! What was I thinking adding a third to the mix? I am so glad to hear that you are getting some sleep! I am dreading this baby only due to lack of sleep. Dallin sleeps pretty good at night, but has been having major trauma going to bed and then he wakes up at the BUTT CRACK OF DAWN! I am trying to figure that one out. Maybe it is a wheat thing also. I have been pretty good about nixing the processed foods and the days he eats well are the days he has less tantrums. I don't love the screaming fits. So, I hope you have your baby this weekend and just know that on those crazy days with three kids 3 and under, you are not alone! A pal in Cali is going just as crazy! I can promise you that! Sorry, that was long!
