Brigitte update

Brigitte has changed so much in the past 2 months! She is so hilarious we die watching her funny little facial expressions and mannerisms. Anything and everything must be 'tested' as thumb sucking material - especially anything crinkly like plastic bags and of course - hair. If I leave my hair down she snatches it up as fast as she can and immediately puts it in her mouth.

Another funny thing she does is crinkles up her nose and 'sniffs'. I think she learned this from watching me when I had my cold. My parents bought her a walker and she is all business in that thing - zooming around the house. She loves especially to see herself in any mirror and admire her own beauty...NOTHING makes her laugh more.

She is obsessed with books and loves to be read to as long as she can hold both pages and chew on it as she feels necessary. I still cant get her to eat vegetables without vomit inducing gags, but she eats fruits like a champ!

Her hair refuses to grow OR lay down. The mohawk and sides stand straight up, Dr suess style. She always looks staticky but we cant do a thing about it! Its too sparse to contain in any sort of clip or elastic. I suppose we could put a head band on her, but I always worry they will squeeze her soft spot or give her a head ache! Plus, its so hard to find a cute one and im not crafty enough to make her some!

At 6 months she weighed in at 18 pounds. She is still short, and chubby, with a tiny head(circumference wise). We think she is perfect of course :)

Here are some pictures from the recent month:

At the zoo, the first warm saturday we had in forever!

Rolling around on the floor with dad; A Favorite pastime.

In her puma shoes, a splurge we made when we were pregnant and convinced "Brigitte" was in fact  "Logan"

Love that baby! I'm glad to know I'm not the only mom who is having serious "growth" issues with their girls. Although I must admit, little B still has cute hair. Ok, lastly, I really had no idea you were wanting to use the name Logan if you were having a boy. I hope I'm not spoiling it for you.

I think she's a perfect little glow-baby, dumplin', peanut, and every other delicious confection all rolled into a static-y haired chub a lubs.

I love that you call her a Dr. Seuss baby. That is what my neighbor calls Dallin. They can be the cutest Dr. Seuss babies together! She is so darling.

Yep- she is Darling!! I love the foot grabby picture. Well, I love all the pictures- let's be honest!

I put Mia's toes in her hands all the time, but she hasn't done it by her big self yet!
